CJ ROMERO
CJ Romero is a Los Angeles native who has always found his talents in visual arts. In high school, he taughthimself how to cut hair and referred to himself as a "kitchen beautician". Cutting his friends and families hair, anybody who would let him really. So when the time came to choose a career, it was clear that his passion for hair would lead him to a career in hairstyling.
Enrolling in the Los Angeles Career Center Cosmetology program, CJ finished in just under 2 years. After receiving his Cosmetology license, he enrolled in further education at American Crew Mens cutting course and ABC Vidal Sassoon women's cutting extensive. After finishing these courses, CJ began his career assisting several stylist in the LA area and moved on to having his own chair at Rudy's Barbershop in Silverlake Ca. Working hard towards perfecting his craft at cutting, coloring and styling men's hair, along with grooming facial hair. CJ gained a steady clientele in and out of his shop.
NOW, Romero ventures onward to the world of hairstyling; working in print, film and red carpet.
